Make Your Partners Look Good

How do you put on a good show? I've found the best way is by going out of your way to make your partners look good. If everyone is looking out for each other like this, you'll all be great! Each person has a whole team looking after them. It means you recognize how to use space, if your partner is shining onstage, make them brighter, shine another 'spotlight' on them. But also fill in the spaces and do the dirty work – provide the auxiliary support cast that makes them shine.  Throw them an easy pitch you know they'll knock out of the park. With this mindset the whole team will be hitting home runs all night long. 

In my work this means being generous with my time. Not hesitating and doing the dirty work, making sure my teammates are helped, acknowledged and seen. I go out of my way to make the people around me better.
